This week in 1974, the Polish Prince, Bobby Vinton, was riding his "Melody of Love" ( and its partially Polish lyrics)  on his eventual way to #3 in the charts while two future #1 hits made their chart debuts, the Average White Band's "Pick Up the Pieces" and Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good".
